Design packaging for a highly technical product that needed to do more than protect the device. The packaging had to clearly communicate key technical specifications, align with brand standards, and provide a seamless onboarding experience through a QR code for app download and reader setup, all while keeping the design clean, organized, and easy to navigate.
Developed multiple packaging concepts that balanced technical requirements with a clean, branded design. Each option explored different approaches to visual hierarchy, product specifications, and the unboxing experience, giving leadership several directions to evaluate. After collaborating with key stakeholders, we selected and refined a final design featuring a sleek exterior that opened to reveal a prominently placed QR code for app download and reader setup. The finished packaging created a seamless connection between the physical product and the digital onboarding experience.
